GSD steht für die 3 Gründer Gatti, Stradella und Danielle. GSD produzierte ín den 70ern und 80ern Regler und Band-Masks und war in Avegno, in der Nähe von Genua/Italien angesiedelt. Der Einstieg in den Tauchmarkt erfolgte mit der Sinbad Maske. Der bekannteste Regler ist der Spinnaker (wurde in dem Film “Die Tiefe” als Atemregler von Nick Nolte verwendet). Danach kam der Spinnaker Pro und Ventile für Trockentauchanzüge. Das wohl einzigartigste Produkt war die Punto Harpune, die auch ausserhalb des Wassers eingesetzt werden konnte, ohne dass der Mechanismus darunter litt.

GSD made some regs and professionnal band-mask during the 70's to 80s, was located in Avegno, near Genova, Italia Their first entry into the dive market was the "Sinbad" mask. They built the famous Spinnaker reg that was used by Nick Nolte in the movie “The Deep”. Then the Spinnaker Pro regulator followed by valves for dry suits. Perhaps the most unique product was the "Punto" pneumatic speargun which could be fired out of the water without damaging the mechanism; it also had 4 barrel lengths that could be changed underwater while fully charged and loaded.
